Does anyone know of a solution to my sticking wing mirror irritation? It folds up and down ok most of the time but occasionally stays up and needs a nudge to come back down - a very gentle one fingered nudge gets it going. It is annoying me! A quick squirt of WD40 perhaps? If so where?

Well, just to reply to my own thread and for future info, if you have searched for it, WD40 does the trick.
Fold the mirrors up, squirt WD40 in liberally (easier from under the mirror as the mechanism is exposed). Fold a few times to spread it around. Clean up the mess (goes everywhere!). Fixed. Not had a 'stick' in 2 weeks

Silicone spray is better for this - it's much cleaner.

Wrap an old towel or whatever around the mirror and try to keep the spray off the windscreen and the bodywork.
