as mentioned hardly any options and its getting on for 2 years old! add on 2 years warranty at £1600 and satnav and rear park at £2000 and the price seems about right compared to 3 month old 2000 mile cars with decent spec (all IMO of course)http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/auc/car_details/0,,1260...
It's only 1.5 years old, so will still have 1.5 yar balance of warranty left. Yes I hate silver, but it's metallic and is pretty safe come resale. Fact is, they are not fetching the money at the moment and £400 quid tax this year, plus £25 CC isn't going to help going forward.

I got out of mine 2 weeks ago, I got offered as low as 25k for a 2007 9,000 mile Z4M that cost more than 48k in March 07, had every extra and incl indivudal paint and all sorts, some dealers didn't even want to touch it, I think these have still got a long way to go before they settle down, just glad i'm not on that rollercoaster

how much did you acutally sell it for though? "i got offered as low as 25k" isn't that might help in the way of guidance to trade in prices... i mean i could of offered you 8k thankfully no, but if i'd bought new I would have taken that hit, I bought it for 37k with 261 miles and 2 months old, I sold it 7 months later with 9,000 on the clock for 31.5k, but I had to spend alot more to get that deal, it was not easy by any means, like I said, 25k was 2 dealers best offer and some didn't even want to touch it, 27k was the norm from virtually everyone else

Given you were going to take such a hit, why did you want to sell the car? Did it disappoint?Edited by taffyracer on Saturday 16th February 15:35
