E46 M3 CS Tyres
Discussion
It's coming up to tyre replacement time on my M3 CS and I'm thinking of giving Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas a try; anyone had any experience of these on a E46 M3 and if so what are your thoughts?
The reason I'm thinking of the Vredesteins is that they came out very well in Evo's tyre test late last year and were actually second only overall to the latest Goodyear Eagle F1's (which as far as I can see aren't available in a size to fit the 19" wheels on the M3 CS). The Vredesteins also outscored the default choice (Michelin PS2's) in most aspects of the Evo test and are over 20% cheaper to buy (albeit I accept that initial purchase price isn't everything as wear rates could be different etc!).
Anyway, what are people's views? Give the Vredesteins a go, stick with PS's (the safe choice) or have I overlooked a better option?!
