Beware of fake Eisenmann exhausts
Discussion
Just picked up on this from the M5board: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=... and http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112...
Apparently the US importer Eisenhaus (until 1 February 2008) were selling Korean or Japanese made counterfeit exhausts and passing them off as the original Eisenmann products.
The genuine handmade German ones only come in two versions, Race and Sport, while Eisenhaus rebranded the Race to Meisterschaft (thus that is genuine) but sold Race and Sport versions that were Korean or Japanese made and have nothing to do with Eisenmann.
In other words, despite the favourable dollar exchange rate, don't buy anything from Eisenhaus as Eisenmann has severed the ties with them.
