Right, thanks to all the positive comments from Der and Hunt etc. I too the plunge this weekend and stuck a deposit on a November 2006 M6 in Indi Red with Full silverstone - nice combo IMO. Paid main dealer price so hoping its going to keep a smile on my face for at least a year!

Dealer was very good, took me for a good test drive with the opportunity to stretch its legs and have some fast twisties with poor surfaces into the equation.

Congrats. M6 is a special beast that has yet to be fully appreciated and get's better the more you know it and harder you push.

Look forward to your thoughts when you've had a few months

I bought mine new in June 2006...it is a delightful car. Congrats, and I am sure you will have many greatr experiences with it. There is a good M6 community in the M6 section of the Unofficial M5 Board if you are interested. Very helpful people.

Thanks guys. Don't think I will be DMSing straight away - see how it goes for a few months.

Dunno if there is a cheaper way of simply delimiting in the mean time?
