Z4MC lower ride height
Discussion
Fit a new (uprated?) lowered spring kit. I like to use Eibach but there are a myriad of different manufacturers out there. All you will need is to lower the car approx 35/40mm and as well as enhancing the look of the thing it will reduce roll a little at the same time. Personally I will be fitting a KW variant III kit with Eibachs to my M coupe but this will be primarily to iron out the crashy ride although the visual enhancement will certainly be a plus point as I too am rolling on CSL rims.
I think the rears will fit OK but you may well need to source CS front rims @ 8" wide as apposed to 8.5" as the front track of the Z3M is more akin to the e36. Folk will witter on about the weight increase but it is negligible and will certainly not be noticed when driving the car. These are only my theories and you would be wise to discuss your requirements further with Simpson Motorsport or Thorney ect. I have not seen a Z3M with CSL alloys either but think it would look very purposeful and will go a fair way to give the car a more contemporary look, good luck.
