Folks.. have stupidly managed to scuff not one but two of these mega shiny new 19 alloys... and am really keen to try and organise some kind of repair to get em lookin sharp again..

Was just wondering if anyone had any hints at all... a wheel specialist i have spoken to so far reckons its gonna be nigh on impossible to repair
/ remove properly due to the highly polished finish.

any thoughts much appreciated

Lepsoms in Essex/Kent area have a good reputation, have seen repairs they done including 19" CSL rims which you would never know had been touched......

If it's not too serious I wouldn't rush in, if they are anything like the 19in wheels found on the E46 that diamond cut finish is so hard to get right. They won't quite match the OEM finish.

You and me both. I scuffed one of mine with a proper Austin Powers bit of parallel parking. I'm leaving them until I sell to get fixed up.

Leave them until you have mastered the art of parking (that's not a dig). You only have to look at a curb and the noise is enough to make you cry.

These wheels are the same finish as the e46 M3. Between me and the missus we managed to curb all ours. They had to be machined and relacquered - there is only so much you can take off before they cannot be repaired without filling and painting with a lookalike paint.

Second that BJV have done a few cars for me, both split rims and polished finish and always been a top job.
