Nice car.
Comedy price.
Would one expect anything less from that dealership?!Comedy price.
Look what they've done with Z8s?
If one has a large buying capacity one can then actually artifically make something "rare and exclusive" by buying up all available stock and then only releasing onto the market in drips and drabs at an artificially engineered and inflated price.
That's just what De Beers have done with diamonds for decades. Diamonds aren't rare...De Beers have 'made' them rare and valuable.
And that's just what said dealership have done with Z8s. It's so simple I can't believe people haven't seen through it; ignored it and bought other 'stuff' leaving them high and dry with a load of Z8s that they can't sell until they sell them at proper 'secondhand prices'.
Looks from the above that they may be squaring up to do the same on Z3 Coupes.
Best advice?...Ignore the car!

My Alpina was maintained by Hexagon of Highgate prior to my ownership.
Looking through the old invoices, it's an eye opener.
Of particular note was the Oil Service around the mid 40k mile mark (which on a B3 3.3 notionally costs the same as a 328/330).
How they managed to make it end up at £1890 and still not replace anything of any note is beyond me.

I try and look at it from the point of view that if you pay top price+ for a car and it is a minter, the only downer will be that you paid more than you might have bought it for elsewhere but at least it is a prime example. If on the other hand you pay less than the going rate and end up with a pig, where is the deal?
The majority on here are fairly well genned up with regards to pricing but it is not that way for everyone and if you can afford to pay well over the odds and are happy to in the knowledge that you will not get a better example then good luck to you.
Thieving dealers, on the other hand, are a different kettle of fish!

It goes like this: E36 M3 Evo front suspension + 321/325 bhp engine (S50B32 or S54B32) + the E30 M3 rear suspension + LSD = big time fun!See Evo reviews of their long-termer or TopGear driver's car award
