Usual proceedure for these things is disconnect the battery for 20 mins or so, re-connect, go drive it like you stole it.
Works on most Jap machinery so would expect the same from yours. Depends if it stores it's parameters in an EPROM chip, which means it might have to be 'flashed' or overwritten by a re-mapping company.
Hopefully someone who actually knows might be along soon....

That's got to be worth a try. It just doesn't seem to have the get up and go that my old EVO saloon used to have. I know it's a bit heavier but It's just had a new Vanos and has only done low miles so it should fly. Works on most Jap machinery so would expect the same from yours.
