Well after my first proper spirited drive since nearly a month of ownership I have to say WOW! What a car. I have read many a thread on here about TC, harsh suspension, zorst upgrades etc. but I really don't see how the car could come out of the factory and be any better ( having said that, I have a host of changes that I will make but more to personalise than better and because it is my hobby/passion blah, blah, blah, you all know what I am saying here ). I can see that once you have truly got to grips with the cars behaviour and know it inside out you may levy criticism over settings that come as standard and feel that they do not quite suit your driving style but I really do think that this car will surprise and in years to come will gain status a little like the CSL before it.

I second that. Fabulous car when you take it by the scruff and drive it as intended. Unfortunately the opportunities to drive cars like these to their potential on public roads are dwindling.

GTW, couldn't agree more about how great these cars are, but I still think a few mods makes them even better!

Well seeing as Wayne is a numpty and hasn't figured out how to post pics yet (sort it out fella!! smile ) I thought I'd help him out, as I know he's desparate to show off his new toy. Desparate enough that he even considers a meet at Boxhill on a cold wet winter's day, to be a good idea......... wink

The only thing it needs is to be taken off those stilts it's sitting on and make it hunker down a fair bit more. thumbup

I think you'll agree that the least he could have done was clean it properly first............ wink

And Wayne, just by the way.......................you should have bought a CSL!

Just messing fella - motor looks good.

I say yes!

Will you have your KW3s on by then? Would be interested in seeing what they feel like, as suspension is next on my mod list...

Yes... I can't decide yet at all. Would like to see the KW3s. Would like to also find out what the KW Clubsports are like in comparison.

Also looked at Intrax the other day - but quite pricey....

Hummmmmmmmmmmm.....

Absolutely; I recently dismissed out of hand a friend's suggestion of a Z4 as the new car for him (compared to say 350Z and usual suspects), assuming he was talking about the convertible - until I saw a beautiful red coupe up close recently.

Really lovely looking car.

A Z4C meet is in the making it would seem. The time of year is hardly conducive for a hoon I guess but I for one would like to meet up with like minded folk in person and as much as anything it will be a jolly good wheeze to get a few of the marque together at one venue. How about Friday the 28th of December @ Rykers car park ( A24 ) Box Hill lets say about 10' ish?
