hi there

you will be surprised what can be removed with pdr

we offer this service and can inform you the only times that there are problems are when the following points are present

- dent is too acute and paint is cracked
- dent is obscured by a bracing section under the panel skin (there are way around this though)
- its too big an area to remove 100% ie larger than a cricket ball diameter

apart from that generally its plain sailing. give me a shout if you need any advice

kind regards

Matthew

Hi Paul

I HATE dents with a passion so i know how you feel mate.

I'm afraid i cannot recommend anyone down your area I'm afraid. Best thing is to try and go off a recommendation from maybe another forum or something.

As for the brace - then if a hollow box section there will likely be holes within to allow moisture to escape etc and these provide a way in for the dent removal tool. worst case the box section can be drilled to allow access and then sealed and plugged so i'm sure you can get it sorted. Just be careful who you use as a poor dent repair can look frightfully sh!t if not done correctly.

Good luck hope you get sorted

Matthew

My old neighbour runs a mobile dent business & I think he used to charge people about 65 quid too.

He did my old Z3MC once as a favour...took about a dozen tiny dents out....I only thought there were 4 visible, but when he pointed them out I was amazedat his eye to spot them! When he finished it looked like knew...and took him less than an hour!

He's worth a mint now as he goes round all the major loacal dealerships and does about a dozen cars at a time...spending a few minutes taking it out and then 5 mins polishing up! And he told me he gets £35 per panel on each car! (discounted at volume) Minted.
