Hi all. Am new here so no bullying please!!
I have a track prepared E30 M3. The front discs need replacing and as I am notoriously hard on brakes I was after any advice on where to get good (and sensibly priced) discs or if any bigger M3/M5 brakes will fit. Bare in mind I am running 16" BBS crossspokes.
Thanks in advance.

If you're running standard then i'd recommend the Wilwood 4 pot kit, I had one of these on an old E30 a few years back, absolutely amazing value at around £400 and worked a treat on track, discs were also standard golf jobbies so only £85 / set, like I said amazing value and for this
I've been down this road. I dumped the stock brakes on mine as I was getting to the point where I couldn't get into my garage any longer because of all the toasted disks..........Anyway, be careful that the setup you buy will fit under your wheels. The stock 16" bbs, like the 15's have quite big shoulders and don't allow very much clearance with big brakes. I run AP's and 15" Compomotive's for track use, which works fine because the compo's have a very simple design which provide max space for brakes. I would be interetsed to know how you get on, if you go for the Wilwood's. Good luck.
Exactly, do it once and do it right. AP's, had mine for 3+ years on my road/track car. Require minimal maintenance and you can pound them all day. They just work and keep on working, that's why they are expensive. I always used to wonder why I spent so much money on SRF when it appeared I could get cheaper equivalents. Then it struck me, how many issues have I had with brake fluid boiling or soft pedal etc.....none.....
