I can get 19% off a new M3, but i must hold it for 12 months
Discussion
I would imagine so. You're pretty much guaranteed to lose the 17.5% VAT straight off the bat, so the extra 1.5% isn't going to take much to lose.
In 12 months there will be umpteen on the road (and people will be offloading for next year's facelift).
Not such a great deal IMHO - but then again, I'm not that au fait with the BMW market.
PS - It's LOSE not LOOSE!!! Sorry - pet hate

why do you HAVE to keep it? How is that enforced?
it will be under a corporate purchase scheme I imagine - such as the one BAE systems have with Vauxhall. The discount only applies when buying through the corporate scheme, and the resale restriction can, and will be enforced.
As for the OP - the question should be, do you want a new M3? if so, its a good deal. If not, it isnt.

I can get 19% off a new M3, or any other BMW for that matter. BUT I cant sell it for 12 months. As I drive a E46 M3 I am quite interested in the new car but am I likely to loose money when I try to sell it on after a year?
If your talking about BMW staff discount then actually ask them when they can supply the vehicle. It might not be as easy as you think to source one.hello mate I saw your post re selling an M3 and getting a decent trade deal. Im looking for options on mine so if you could help pointing me in the direction of a decent trader i'd be grateful. My car is on here at:
