I know it may seem an odd question but I am just hoping it will go down my drive to the garage!?

This would be with the mirrors down so that I can also reverse it back out.

Thanks

P.S. Does the SMG box on the standard E46 M3 also have the throttle blip on down changes?

Who would you use to inspect the car of its not from a Main Dealer?

From the BMW manual...

Width of car is 1780 mm - although this is wheelarch to wheelarch
Including the mirrors (handy when reversing!) the width is given as 1924 mm

Height: 1372 mm
Length: 4492 mm
Minimum turning circle: 11.0 metres

Sorry - I've got a manual version, so no idea on your SMG questions!
I think the AA or RAC will (happily) charge you to do an inspection. Alternatively see if there is a local BMW independent / specialist in your area. For more info log into www.mtorque.co.uk (previously www.bm3w.co.uk) which is an invaluable source of M3 info

Hope this helps - buy the car, change the garage later if required! wink

Throttle blip.
Yes. It has to in order to match the revs to the wheel speed....It does sound much better at full chat in a CSL though ;o)
