After searching for a lightweight, stainless, sport exhaust for the Z4M & coming up with very little, I have just found this company Exhaust System that for £544 will make one up for you, while you wait! Anybody here used or know of them?

Colin.

While-U-wait exhausts may involve a heck of a lot of, er, waiting.
Seeing as you're in Cheshire, maybe try JP exhausts in Macc - they did my TVR stainless manifolds, and a cat-back single-silencer exhaust from scratch in a (long) morning, so might be worth a go. They supply a lot of TVR stuff, so a search on the TVR forums might bring up more opinions.

Colin,

MIJ did a bespoke system on my old 2.8 Quattro, did a great job, got rid of the twin branched Cats and brought down to a single one with tasty stainless b/box hanging across the rear (quattro stylee!)

As mentioned tho, it does involve a lot of waiting, i had it done at their old tiny premises (round the corner from their new ones) so was forced to spend the afternoon in Walsaw. Not good i can tell you...

If its for a Z4M tho there are lots of off the shelf versions to fit, I had a Tubi Rumore system on my e39 M5, not sure if they do them for yours but worth checking as will emit the best noise from a BMW V8! There are others tho.

Hayward & Scott and Torqueflow are both companies that do excellent custom exhausts for BMW's.

Larini Systems and Sebring Exhausts may also be worth a shout.

The wife has used MIJ on her car, pretty good work, but personally I didn't like the choice of tips they offered her, to me that looked a bit OTT. IIRC she had back boxes and pipes replaced and it was about £270 (group buy on the ST Owners Forum.)

I've used Hayward and Scott and they did a fab job on the ///M. They have quite a bit of experience with BMWs. (Plus they let the V8 speak a little bit more smile )

Seesure, i know what your saying about those MIJ tips mind, luckily they had a not to dissimilar to standard, twin rounds for mine.

Also, heres a link to my Tubi on my old M5. If they do one for yours....get one! (actually, this post is spookily very similar to Seesures above!)smile
