ffs would anyone in their right mind run a car that had damaged engine pulleys and a hole in the sump?

LOL

Perhaps it should read '' Car runs fine when connected directly to a 207-litre barrel of 0W-30''

6th picture with shattered sump is laughable...

So is the price he wants for it. I'm no expert but i'd imagine that to properly repair it would set you back at least two thirds of the asking price again. Suddenly doesn't look to attractive...

well it needs a new front end for a start so thats a couple of grand and then whatever on a new sump(£500+ from bmw) new pulleys/cam chain/tensioners ect,new radiator/fan/cowl ect.think there's atleast £5k to fix that and thats assuming the engine isnt buggered

Doesn't seem reparable to me as the passenger side chassis leg is crushed along it's whole length. Not worth much at all really, only for a couple of salvage parts. And if the engine has been run with the sump in that condition expect few engine parts to be usable.
