on the road, you'd have to be a very good driver to notice much difference
on the track you'll be aware of it but not so it matters.
my Conv has never felt anything but solid and sharp both on road and track,
having said that i have recently upgraded it so it doesnt feel too sloppy compared with my 360

I'm not so sure i'd agree with that, the open top is alot noisier, ride is not as controlled, performance due to the extra weight is blunted and its generally not as sharp as the coupe, on track the difference is highlighted even more, if you are considering it for track use then forget the convertible IMHO

i guess it comes down to the individual drivers skill level.
or what their priorities are, my car spends 95% of it's time on the road in normal driving conditions, and what you lose in extra noise you gain in the advantages a convertible gives you (if you like that sort of thing)
on track, as a competition car, the coupe is the better tool, but for the occasional track day for an average driver i still maintain it doesnt matter that much
