Went to the E93 launch weekend yesterday, I liked it very much. Dealer told me the value of my E46 convertible (26000 miles) has strengthened asa result of the new car. Suggested they buy it from me now despite not being able to get an E92 with SMG for at least 6 months.

Anyone else been offered good money for their E46?

Too bl00dy true.

Nick.
But did you actually get an offer from them?
They tell me that they buy every M3 they can and told me they would buy my CSL off me straight away. So I asked them to have a look at it and tell me what it was worth to them....... The answer!.......£24K. I told him that he was only at least £6K short.

They're all on drugs.

That's not my experience...they usually tell you all the reasons why nobody wants your car and how difficult to shift it will be...and then amongst much head scratching will give you some insulting price whilst mentally rubbing hands with glee with the thought of what it will retail for.

Well, one things for sure - turn down his offer and wait another six months and your car will another few grand less so maybe for once your dealer's got a point?

You were all dead right , he offered me at least 3 grand less than the parkers guide trade in price for my car which has covered only half the average mileage for its age.
