Rather as with the manual car most people - including me - who want one probably put a provisional order in a very long time ago with the intention of chopping in their manual car for the new boxed car when it arrives. If you didn't do this I don't imagine you'll get one next year. My dealer recons he's looking at Autumn '08 'at best' for a manual car if you order now and Spring '09 or later for the new gearbox - IF deliveries start next spring. Same with CSL - my dealer has a massive list of provisional orders for that car too.Edited by Pugsey on Tuesday 4th September 08:48

Cool - me too! In that case you should have no worries. My dealer reckons March but thinks BMW may withhold any info 'till Jan for fear of knocking early manual sales. Same thinking on CSL apparently which will actually appear MUCH earlier in the new cars cycle than the prev. one did.
