E46 M3 Throttle question - bunny-hop

All, i wonder if anyone can help...

When I accelerate with moderate throttle - say 50% open...the car seems to "bunny-hop" rather a lot...it seems more pronounced with the 'sport' mode on...

Has anyone else experienced this?

The car is a manual - 2003...any help gratefully received

Welcome to the bunny-hop club!

In the end, you get used to it and work out how slow/fast to go to avoid the hopping.

Yep its a well known " feaure " of E46 M3's

Usually worse when cold.

Also the condition of the road surface can be enough to jolt your right foot when in sport mode.
