Since i've still not been approved for M5board..

Anybody got any ideas for a sports exhaust for the E34 M5? Supersprint and Eissenman are both quoting 6 weeks delivery, and Hayward and scott can't do it for 6 weeks either. I have rather a large hole in the exhaust!

I think you've 'exhausted' your options there - Eisenmann only do the back box, Supersprint do the centre & back - neither do sports cats. They're the only two anyone on the M5 Board recommends.

You could have my old one, but that's currently running around the 109dB level according to a friend with a meter - and is basically a couple of pieces of flexible tubing attached to the manifold!

I've just sourced a good 2nd hand original one for £300 as I got fed up making the max power boys sh!t themselves at the lights.

Don't know what's holding up your approval, maybe it's because Gustav is on holiday - but I'd have thought someone would have been covering.

I've left a message for Kees via the private mail facility on the M5 board. Having said that he doesn't know me!

Hi All, I put a Scorpion stainless steel system (from Cat back) on my 1991 3.6 E34 about 7 or 8 years ago and it's been brilliant. It sounds really good without sounding boy racer, but they're not the cheapest on the market, but the quality is really good smile

I'm taking the Tubi off my old girl.

Got tired of the occasional subterranean clonk and tbh, won't miss the boom which sometimes permeates the general saloony civility.

But I am putting one on the M6 tomorrow and have a man standing by to conduct testing post fittment.

I don't think the E34 needs one, it's a very mechanical symphony.

Charlie, have a look on www.infinicar.com they are breaking 2 E34 M5. Might have a few bits that you need.
