Has anyone had a remap on their M3 and was the end result as hoped?

Have about £600 odd and interested in having this done if it makes a noticeable difference.

Also any recs from anyone about where to get it done would be appreciated. I'm based in Kent so SE is preferred.

Cheers

Your looking at 10bhp tops, and thats if its custom mapped on a dyno. I've never thought its worth it

What he said, though others would disagree.

It would seem that M3's leave BMW with anywhere between 320bhp and 340bhp, and there is not a cat in hells chance that a chip modification will take a 320bhp car to 350bhp. I know that the characteristics of the engines power delivery can be changed, but this would have little or no effect on real world performance in my experience.

Waste of money in my eyes.
