Evening all, a few months ago I became the proud owner of a 1994 3-litre
M3 convertible. It had a always been a dream car and after driving modded imprezas I fancied a change.

She's Avus blue with silver unmarked leather interior, navy soft top and currently has just over 26000 miles on clock.... that is correct, 26k..!

The spare alloy is unused and unmarked as is the toolkit, jack, triangle etc etc..........I am the 4th owner.

I changed the rear tyres last week to be told that they were actually the original tyres from the showroom............! It is quite apparent that she's been wrapped in cotton wool for much of her 13 years.

The thing is, I'm in the middle of changing jobs and as such will incur upto 500 miles per week travelling and although I can claim 40p per business mile ( 95% of the 500 will be business ) I don't feel that the M3 warrants having 2000 miles per month adding to her very low mileage.

The engine bay is spotless and I've had the mileage confirmed by Sytners BMW, and also HPi'd before purchase. She is in remarkable condition for her age but sadly, I may, be forced to hand her over to someone that can enjoy her without piling on the miles and be forced into a diesel.

Anyone any idea how much I could expect to receive were I to advertise her for sale........?

Many thanx.

Si.

If it's as good as it sounds I'd go for £15k.

Agreed.

I just payed a similar figure for my '98 Evo Coupe with 27k on the clocks.

There is definately a market for mint Bimmers at high prices, albeit a small one.

Bloody hell, didn't have that sort of figure in mind, not looking at some of the "value my car" websites.

I swapped my impreza worth about £11k for this M3 a few months ago.

Many thanks for the replies .

i think that is grossly over priced at £15k your nearly into e46 territory i would say between £8-£10k would be expected your car is 13 years old now.

even though it sounds lovely i dont think no one would pay £15k for it

I would put it up for about 13-14K, all ads are over-valued by about 20% anyway to allow for negotiation...

I bought a pretty much minted 98 R black/black FBMWSH Evo cab with 38K miles last month for 9500. The most expensive one I viewed was a 99 V at a shade over 11K. I'd value your car somewhere around 10 ish personally. The miles does make it more attractive but only up to a point!
