M power logo! Not used anymore?

Just noticed they dont use the 'M power' logo on cam covers these days,not since the e39 M5 which has a nice Carbon fibre badge sitting proudly on top.All they have now is a cheap M badge and another V designation next to it.
Is it marketing related or just a change of direction?

The CSL had it. I agree that its absence is disappointing.
