e46 m3 soft top/ saloon

Will be buying car soon, originaly wanted a saloon car but have noticed the soft top are not much more money? is that right? is there as much room in back ? are the hard tops with the cars or can you buy them later?

The E46 Convertible does rattle a bit, if you can put up with that and the slightly spongier chasis then its a great choice. Many can't, the compensation is that you get the scream of that V6 with no windows or roof in the way.
Cheers for replyAre they that much softer & why the rattles, is that the mechinism or something?Can you get 3 seat belts in back as i have young kids (small) it would only be for short journeys?

They (Convertibles) are only 4 seaters so only 2 rear belts....... NOTE on the coupe not all cars have a 3rd Belt (This was an option) so when looking please check!
