cw/pinion what to use

hi guys , can anybody tell me what car i can get a higher ratio cw/p out of, my car is a 1990 m3 e30, i would like the car to accelerate more quickly, i have 258bhp running alpha n management, the car is losing 52bhp through the rear wheels, is this right? the engine is brand new, but i am not convinced that m3's are this slow off the mark, any suggestions, cheers, nick
