M5 WIDESCREEN SAT NAV REMOVAL

hi all has anyone removed the widescreen, or know the procedure for this. i have bought a harmon kardon i pod interface and need to connect it to the antenna lead, it would also be possible to connect it to the lead at any point that it runs down either side of the car by splicing into the lead. so if anyone knows where the antenna runs please let me know!! many thanks
Switch off the ignition and give the car 15-20 mins to be safe for the Navigation Unit to wind down, then simply remove the Widescreen Nav Module and connect/re-connect your additional module etc.
