It is just a joke, but im not entirely sure its 'utter tosh'. Having not driven one yet i can only comment on a lot of reviews i have read that are not exactly that excited by the new M3 and seem to centre on the New CSL instead. I have gone down the Audi route after a lot of BMW's mainly as i wanted a change, but i really didn't like the looks on the new M3.

Be interesting to see how it compares to my last M3 which i loved when i get a chance to have a go in one

I say utter tosh because I have driven it, and I've never witnessed a more lemming like following of quite misleading comments in a few reviews. I'd hope for a little more independence of mind before jumping to such conclusions.

So you are saying it is not more smoother and more refind than the E46?
that wouldn't somehow sound right to me.

I am definitely saying it is 'not' more refined than the E46 (of which I owned 3). In fact I was concerned that BMW had moved it slightly too hardcore for the typical M3 owner. The Audi RS4 I compared it with was positively laid-back by comparison. The M3 could be adjusted to ride better than the RS4, but the engine (which is loud and resonant) dominates the driving experience.
