How do I buy M36?

Hi.


I have my eye on a M3 e36 1994. I would like some advice on what to know before I contact the guy. It has a M3 engine, no rear spoiler, it looks like one but need the sound guidance from people in the know.

I had a e30 325i 1990 before.
