Do you have a web address for that exhaust?

What were the performance figures?

Its a back box so on its own will probably not do anything performance wise

This is the system with the Eisenmann x pipe

Hang on, wasn't a car tested at 530bhp with various different grade fuels for a magazine article? thinking about 18 months ago? Hence the BMW quoted bhp of 507bhp being more reference to the classic BMW 507 rather than the actual bhp.

The one done at WRC made 510ish on shell v power for evo, but it was a press car. I know of 2 others done at other Dyno dynamics rollers that have got 475 and 490 respectively. Seems the huge variance in M power engines is still with us. I was supposed to do another one yesterday with DMS remap and other mods, but the gearbox decided to die as he drove into the estate.

I don't know of any stock ones making 530bhp, what rollers was it done on?

I also read that article but can't remember where. 530 was meant to be pretty standard....

Ah, found a reference, it was on WRC's dyno. Could well be because it was a press car, i do not know of another one getting figs like that.

And its 507ps, which is 500bhp smile

Vixpy - what are the 'normal' figures you get for new shape M3s, if M powered are down on 'book'

I brought my Griff down a few months back and had a great day - nice to be able to see independantly verified figures...

My own one makes 330bhp (they are quoted at 339bhp or 343ps)

Lowest E46 i have done has been 290bhp with a broken MAF, i have done a couple of 335bhp's, and one 339bhp!

Did a new Z4M coupe which was a dealer demo car and it made an on the button 338bhp.

Under EU law they are allowed to be within 5% of quoted, and of coarse the ecu's are so advanced these days, they alter the timing themselves depending on the fuel etc, so even if a car leaves the factory with quoted figs, it can soon tune itself downwards to protect the internals.
