E46 BMW M3 - How well does it work with a baby ??
Discussion
I am sure it has been asked before but could not find it...
I am thinking about getting a new M3 and with a baby due end of october and it being our only car, is it a realistic choice ? I am sure it must be, there is plenty of room... and my brother has survived with a 997 and convertable bettle for his 2 year old first years.
So wanted to find out from people here how it is to live with when you have a baby ??

I am also about to become a father (mid july) and have recently bought an m3 cabrio, have also bought a baby carseat but i am unsure about fitting said seat in the rear of the beemer. The car manual says that you have to purchase some isofix brackets from bmw?? I have looked at the base plates for isofix seats which sell for about £45.00 but make the seat easy to clip in and out for convienience. Anyone used any of these products?? any help would be great, cheers in advance Jason.

might be hard work when they're still babies as buggies, travel cots, sterilisers, etc, etc, etc soon fill the (smallish) boot!
Will be fine once they're 2 or so!
But to be fair how much travelling do you really do when they are small babies ?? And is the boot that small, i have an e36 M3 at the minute and it has a massive boot....Will be fine once they're 2 or so!
My litte girl is just abouut to turn 1, The M3 has been fine, as said before make sure you get a good iso-fix car seat (we have the BMW one, and can recomend it) and buy a Quinny Pushchair / Pram, as the fold down very very small, ohh and if you have rear side airbags get BMW to switch them off! My Local Dealer did this for me FOC.
Good luck with the little one

I sold mine and bought an M5 for the rear doors and extra boot space (a lot extra), but then mine was a CSL and the CSL's front seats don't move enough to allow easy installation onf baby and seat into the back. A normal M3 should be easier.
You will struggle with a fulll-sized travel system like a Bugaboo in the M3's boot.
