330CI E46 with M power

Just bought this 330CI E46 with M power sport etc, all the bells and whistles.. But, can someone actually take the time to tell me what exactly is the difference between a car with M power and one without..??? Performance wise etc. Where it's been tweaked..

It means nothing power-wise. No extra engine performance to the standard 330ci.

The 330ci Sport has the 'Sport' body kit, different interior trim, 'M technic' suspension and MV Sport wheels.

It's basically a sport model and IMO shouldn't even have an M in the name, nice car but nothing like an M3

Does it? A friend of mine has a 330i Sport and it's just that, a 330i Sport with no M in sight.

The late 2001 onwards facelift models with the revised front end and tailights had in addition to the wheels, bodykit and suspension M badges on the doorsills, steering and gearknob. No difference from the non-M sport really. Although the steering in mine seemed to be identical to the M3 whilst the non-M sport models had a thinner rimmed wheel with a splt spoke design.

I'm not sure if they were all like this but mine was.

Great sporty feeling and practical car. I loved mine to bits and miss it allot but the use of the famous 'M' is not really right. What kind of 'M' car doesn't have a LSD !!!
