Which colour Z4MC?
Discussion
I'm coming close to ordering a Z4MC, but which colour to have?
I was pretty set on black with red leather, although dark metallic grey with red leather might be an option but I haven't seen it in the flesh. Then there's the wild card of white.
I also saw a blue with champagne leather in Newbury on Tuesday, and the light leather really lifts the interior. Maybe black 'n' champagne? So many decisions...

Ruby Black with Champagne.
You see an awful lot of black/grey/silver Z4M's, so I think i'd want something a little less common.
Alpine White would stand out, and is the traditional BMW racing colour, but I imagine it would be too difficult to keep clean (or rather would have to be kept more clean). It's also currently trading on it's rarity, in that it only looks flash because you never see white cars; once a few more hit the streets (along with a few more Golf GTi's) I fear that it'll go the way of the late eighties Glacier White Vauxhall Carlton.
Interlagos Blue is nice, but again there a quite a few around now and everyone will assume that you're copying DoctorD! (Especially if you go for the obligatory CSL wheels and a strut brace!)
If it were my choice I'd go with Imola Red with Imola Red leather, as it honours the heritage from the Z3MC, is a rare combination, and stands out without being vulgar.
However it'd be sorely tempted by Phoenix Yellow with Black/Phoenix Yellow leather, as that colour lets everyone know that you've got an M Car, and creates a remarkable contrast with the black dashboard and headlining. Unfortunately I'd be put off by the likely impact on the trade in value of such a vivid and devisive colour choice.

What's the difference between carbon black and black sapphire? It's bloody hard without a whole car to look at in each colour.
Carbon Blacks got a blue green tint to it in the right light.
