Just looking to do a pad upgrade...
Did a track day at the end of last year in it & ended up finishing the day in the Mrs's car.....
The brakes lasted about 3 laps & haven't worked properly since......
BMW will do a fluid & Pad change for OE parts, I've requested that I supply pads & fluid for them to fit but it has to be BMW parts fitted by them, which is understandable.....
However it doesn't quite get me where I need to be so, can any of you crazy cats out there throw me a line & give me bit of advice....
Just really looking at doing a pad change for now.....
Pagid RS29's are the pad that keeps wriggling to the surface....
I've phoned round for prices £350 delivered is the best so far for a set however, one supplier has just offered me Performance Friction pads at about half the price!!!!..........
Are they Half the pad or are they worth a go?.....
Your help understanding & superior knowledge is appreciated at this time bow ............ Betty......

If you are killing a 2006 M3 brakes in 3 laps then its lessons you need not pads.

If its your pas are gone then it cannot be th ethree laps only. If the discs are shot then it could be you overheated them and did not cool them adequately and have warped or you could have boiled the fluid and there is air in the system.

I am a supplier of both Pagid and PF and without a doubt the RS29's are the ones to go for, £350 is not the right price, you can get a set of hoses, some decent fluid (not bmw crap) and the pads for that and fitted too! Incidentally, this is what I have on my E46 M3 and they're fine on track

Thanks for your replies guys really appreciate it....

Shim, Thanks for your input mate done a few track miles over the years with a few instructors as well, I do take it on board though, Discs all ok, no vibrating, just pedal travel, will be doing Fluid & pad change.....

Taffy, I think your right mate everyone I speak to seems to be directing me toward the pagid pad, I did manage to get a quote of £279.00 for pads..... If you want to give me your number or email address you can quote me if you like, looking to get sorted this week.....

Many Thanks.... Betty....
