My M3 EVO diff/prop shaft oil seal is leaking. Is there anyone out there who has had any experience in replacing these. What's involved, ie parts, labour and approximate cost through dealer network?
Ive no idea how much it would cost-could find out tommorrow but it takes about an hour to replace.
Drop the heat shield,4 prop bolts gives access to the input sleeve nut.undo,slide outand replace seal
That sounds quite easy. My local BMW Dealership has quoted me 3 hours labour and a whopping £332 plus £25 to change the oil. This sounds rather expensive to me or am I missing something here? I am starting to think I might do the job myself!
