our 98 M-roadster is getting ready for new pads and disc would like to up-grade to a set of cross drilled disc and better pads ,just wondered if anyone could recomend some ?

DS2500 Ferodos and standard disks work well.

Forget drilled disks, just go for some decent grooved disks. New pads and disks will only make a slight difference, if you are serious about stopping you have to consider new calipers etc. I would also look at better brake fluid too!

braided hoses,castrol srf fluid,pagid yellows/blues with standard evo discs will work great and i know of a few who use theirs on track(one even races)using that set up.its the best you will get short of an ap kit

sounds like good advice where is the best place to go for these bits ect ?

Any BMW Independent garage, Demon Tweeks or a race parts supplier. Thorney Motorsport in Milton Keynes would be a good starting point.

look on www.geoffsteelracing.co.uk and give them a call ask for will and say jasper gave the details.he will be the cheapest by far.demon tweeks are excessively dear imo.
