Heard some stories of this going on before sir. To be honest with you i thought it'd all died off !

I feel your pain mate, although not quite the same as some little Fcensoredker pinched my mirrors 3 months after buying the car. The mirrors are probably now residing on a Nissan Micra or something alike.

Trouble is there expencive and very easy to get off. I seam to remeber one of the M power speciliest had their compond broken into and all they took was E36 M3 front bumpers and E30 & E36 rear spoilers.

When i bought my E36 someone recomended i get bolts which round or snap the heads of once there done up tight (or some thing similar), not sure where you can get them

That's the way forward. Make sure you have done everything to your car that might require the bumper being off then fit the shear nuts on.

There's lots of info on these at www.e36coupe.co.uk/forum.
