I am a little confused.

My M3 seems to automatically change gears when in S - Sequential mode but requires me to change them when in D - Drivelogic.

Reading my M3 manual the other day, suggests it should be the opposite.

Can people who have M3 SMG IIs post what there car does for the two SMG options.

The S or the D sign that you see in the display is actually telling you what mode you will change to when you move the selector in the direction it indicates, not what mode you are currently in.

Huh !

No one wonder I am confused

I would have thought it would indicate the mode I am in, just like it indicates the gear you are in, not teh gear you would change to.

Surprising for a BMW taht it is not intuitive.
