Done 9500miles and the rear tyres on my E60 are looking ready for replacement, previous E39 went through them at similar rate. On the E39 I replaced the dunlops that were on it with pirelli p zero rosso's which I found to be great for me, much better grip in both wet and dry, and quieter as well.

My current car has continentals from new (I presume, as it wasn't new when I bought it, though almost) Just wondered what others experiences of tyres for the E60 were? (Are there any others available as I haven't even started to look yet)

I'm not looking for great longevity or cheapness particularly, more concerned with quality and performance, and I have been reasonably happy with these.

Any advice or polite suggestions welcome and greatly appreciated!

Thanks
john

I have an M6 which came with the Conti's. Couldn't wait to get rid of them...like concrete. Now have PS2's and these are soo much better. Looked at Corsa's but decided against it as wet grip somewhat compromised. PS2's seemed to offer the best of both worlds and so far so good.

I hate the Contis too, but having just switched back to my summer wheels after five months on winters wheels and tyres, the Contis are nowhere near worn. I think some DSC-off silliness is required to wear them down.
