Z3 M Car Alarm PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

This may sound trivial but something upsetting has happened...!

My 98 M Roadster used to make an obnoxious beeping sound when I turned the alarm on and off and I really liked it! However,this weekend when I took it out of the garage there was no sound, just a flashing of the warning lights and the boring sound of the doors unlocking...

Is there a quick fix solution to this i.e. have I pressed buttons in the wrong combination to inadvertantly turn it off? Or, is it a case of replacing the beeping bit of the alarm?

hmm, I also had such things with some Z3 m coupe's I had...sometimes the light flashes but mostly not, on another car the light flashes when I loch it, but does not flash when I unlock it..aaarrggh anyway 3 times in the time I had it it did also flash when I unlocked it..so there must be some minor thing not working to well i guess, but I use to live with it does not mean its OK

my (2000) z3m makes no noise, just light flash & door noise.
