Drove behind two new M3 BMWs

I work near Munich, and today I was returning from lunch when I noticed a black 3 series turning in front of me. I could tell it was a new style 3 series. It had tape across the rear section, but I could see two pipes on either side. There was an estate car between me and the BMW, so I could not get a close look. I rolled down my window to try and hear the sound since it appeared he was giving it a bit of gas. I could hear what sounded like a motorcycle winding up in front of the M3, so I figured someone was out on their bike in front of the BMW.

When I got to the next set of lights, the estate car turned left, and I pulled up behind the BMW. It had Munich plates, and was slightly disguised. When the light turned green, I noticed that the motorcycle sound in front of the M3 was actually another black M3. It sounded great. A touch of F1, and a touch of motorcycle sound.

The V8 M3 will certainly have a nice sound! I have not heard a straight 6 M3, but the V8 sound on these ones was great. The two M3s turned at the next light. They were behind a 1 series, so I guess they were all factory cars.
