when you say 'pretty good' - whats the downside? I'm in the market for one myself and I want to get the best or else I'd rather stick with the original as it is. (I haven't decided between UUC and Rogue)

The best I've tried by far is the Geoff Steel Racing one. Amazingly positive shift and in a different league to the others mentioned.

Expensive though at around £300, but I will be getting one when funds allow.

I have not yet found a downside to my UUC Evo 3. Its a little expensive but with the DSSR is shorter, smoother and with less vibration than the original BMW part. Not easy to fit yourself, but any local garage can do it in 30 or so minutes.

Rogue is the best engineered by far and has the shortest shift, i've been running one for 2 years on my racer and it's superb, never missed a beat, i know the 04/05 Kumho champ also had a rogue on his car
