Got taken out for a quick blast in a M coupe yesterday. We went past a guy in a DB9 and he couldn't keep his eyes off it!
The car is even more gorgeous in the flesh and felt great inside the cabin. I'm 6'3 and there was good head and leg room also the boot was massive (though the battery takes up more space than you would think). Sound was tops too, alot louder lower down than the CSL. Anyway I couldn't take it for a spin cause it was not their demo But they have started too build mine now for late July, even got me chassis no.

As someone who is 6'5" I am glad to see that BMW produce a car that caters for those of a taller build. Have you tried to drive a Z3? Obviously built for the Oriental market!
It was a funny sight to see myself and a friend (who is 6'3" tall) in a Z3M - heads over the top of the windscreen and knees up around your ears! Someone must have shrunk the car in the wash
But, I do agree - been to the dealers a bit recently and they have a nice blue one at the entrance. Looks great with the big wheels and a deep blue colour. No one need know until they get to the quad pipes at the back! Cant wait until the coupe comes to the UK - wonder what that looks like in the flesh...?

I am! The CSL just sits in storage and only comes out about twice a month, now I'm already doing this with the Cup (a car I will never get rid of) so somethings got too give. So I'm getting rid of the Trophy (what a car) and the CSL too fund the coupe! I feel the coupe is just a bit more daily friendly but still hard as nails and trackable.
Nice. We've just put back out 3.0iSport till 01/09 to get the 56 plate (would have come mid August otherwise). I saw the coupe in autocar last week - almost identical to ours and looks superb in black. Cant wait!! Decided the M was a bit too much for the daily grind (15k per year), but will prob flip the NSX for something more 'focused'
