E39 and E60 M5 insurance
Discussion
Zod, can I ask you how old you are? email me off forum if you want to retain anonimity. I've just paid £1,660 on my porsche and I would have though it would be a similar risk and less value than your M5, clearly I need to look at AON!. My brother's E60 renewal has come in at £1,800
Thanks

Anyone got any recommendations for M car insurance at the moment? I've got to sort renewals of the above two cars in the next month (only one of them is mine unfortunately).

I got the best quote from Privilege last year for my M3 £650 and very good for the 535d this year, good for people with 4yrs + NCB's etc. I live in SW London and am an old git.
One of my colleagues got his new 911s Cabriolet insured through Sainsburys, if memory serves me correctly circa £700. He is 40 and lives in Essex.
hope this helps
dazren, I'm 38. I was paying around £1700 on my CSL to LV, up from £1200 with Tesco the year before, following a minor prang in my old M3. The AON scheme is one our FD has negotiated for our partnership with AON and is flat-rated for any car anywhere. It helps that there are a lot of us. I have always suffered from living in a high risk (nice) are of London and I had an M3 stolen in 2002, for which I got a full payout from NU.

Try A-Plan on 01635 874646.
They have come up trumps for me. £729 for an E46 M3. Business use, kept on driveway, 5 points for an SP30 etc etc. Privilege was a little cheaper but they wanted me to have an XS of £1125! ROFL! A-Plan is £300XS, so much better.
Cheers
Matt
I've just gone with A-Plan, £654 business use, 2001 M5, 0 points and 5+ NCB. Excess was low £400 compulsory and £60 for windscreen. Adrian Flux was close at £704 but £600 excess.
Try the regular policies for www.lancaster-ins.co.uk . I had my 325 insured with them on both classic and regular policies and they were remarkably cheap (Fully comp on a 325 for a 22 year old with no NCB for £500).
