Hello all,
My N55 OG LCI will be due for warranty renewal soon.
I purchased it in May last year, and have had a few things rectified under the warranty:
- HK Amp failure (the big one)
- Handbrake adjustment (not a big deal)
- Fitted "torque plates" to stop clicking noise on turning
My query is whether it will be worth extending the warranty. Has anyone continued the warranty on their car, thoughts / costs? I have not had a renewal invitation yet which I hear is the norm..
Thanks

I've just renewed the warranty on my F10 M5, I opted to do it on a monthly payment at £86 per month, that's for the comprehensive cover with the emergency service included and a £250 excess. If you wanted to do a one off payment I think it was £895.
I expect the M2 will be much the same or maybe slightly cheaper.
Personally I wouldn't run any M car without a BMW warranty, it wouldn't really take much of a problem on one of these cars for the cost of rectifying it to easily outstrip the cost of the warranty.
