M5 F10 Tyres too much power!

I love my M5 don't get me wrong
But I would be lying if I didn't say the onr thing stopping me getting a 4wd F90 is the depreciation risk which I feel is higher.
The F10 is hilarious but I am also very conscious that "grip" is only ever a split second away from breaking up the relationship, dragging me to court, taking custody of the kids and claiming majority share in my company, all whilst starting a new relationship with "the ditch".
That being said I am a victim of "treat them mean and keep them keen" in that case as I do love my M5
So the question is will new tyres save my marriage with Grip?
It's currently on worn continentals.
I was looking at the usual pilot sports etc but then I thought what about winter tyres? Or rainsports?
I'm not gonna ever take it on track so it doesn't need the max performance to be geared towards a sunny dry day and let's face it those are rare in blighty.
Any advice much appreciated

Just had a set of MPS 4S put on mine. The MPSS were very good but these are even better. Traction light hasn't been on since I've had them (a few weeks) and they seem a step up on this issue. But the car will bite if provoked, I'm sure. Never felt dangerous tho', and now feels even more controllable.
Edited to add: never needed winters even tho I've regularly driven on icy roads (inc N Yorks) and in v heavy rain

I've got the star marked Pirelli P Zeros on mine.
I know a lot of M5 owners don't rate these tyres at all, but I've found them to be fine. You've got to be careful with the throttle if it's wet or damp or they'll break traction, but other than that I've had no issues. They wear quite well too.

Echo this. I had MPSS previously but the MPS 4S are much better. Had them on for 6 months or so now. Still get traction light if provoked (however it has been cold/wet).
