I know it is a purely sound thing and very expensive but I think I am going to go for it. That way it will keep my bmw warranty intact . Has anyone gone for it and regretted it ?

M2C or OG?

I did the AA equal length mid pipe on mine to release a few ponies and make it sound less like a leaf blower. Kept to original silencer and it’s now sounding good to my ears, if a tad raspy at times.

You will not regret it. All you need to do is put a manual bypass wire in so you don’t need to use the red button in the boot.

There is no MPE for the M2C. M2C also has rubbish OPF.

I had a Remus race fitted to my OG (I have the same fitted to my comp GPF back with res delete)
Worth noting if you go Mperformance the standard exhaust has to be cut from the flexi back, where as the Remus connects to the down pipe/cat.
My OG sounded mental with the Remus fittedbiglaugh

I have around 22 months of bmw warranty remaining so will need to go bmw approved upgrades only. I have had a Remus previously on a 335i f31 which was awesome

Might want to keep it stock since they might not even cover you even if they install the part...well the exhaust section anyway....

If its a 2017 I'd just fit an axle-back (or have the center res/backbox modded) and be done with it.

Your exhaust warranty would be void, however the exhaust isn't on the car so it's a non issue...
If you had a catastrophic failure, the dealer would need to prove that the exhaust caused it which would be very difficult. Plus an axle-back shouldn't cause any issues anyway - if it did you could have the original refitted and take it in to the dealer afterwards. If you had the backbox modded they usually open it from the top, so BMW would only know if they removed the exhaust and saw the welds on top.

Overall would cost you a lot less than the full M Performance exhaust, would sound as good if not better, and your warranty would still be valid.

Well their m technician chap does not work Saturdays, so it is not happening for a while. I will also check to see if it impacts the warranty as if it does it will not happen
