I like them, makes the old M2 look a bit dated.

I'm not there yet with that view, but i have to say when the new model M4s hit the road in reasonable numbers, they definitely made the previous gen one look quite dated.

I’ve always preferred the outgoing M car but the new M2 has changed that.

I've always said that too. I remember picking my F82 M4 up at the dealer, and the G82 M4 made it look ancient in comparison I thought.

i remember when a BMW dash was a lovley thing to look at...

Did someone design that dash and then go "oh crap we forgot about the screens... its ok just screw it on the top, no one will notice"

Have to say I think the same - there was little thought apparently given to aesthetics when it came to dropping an extra wide TV on top of the dash!

I agree, and BMW don't seem to be any good at integrating their screens at all.

Best colour for it imho. Still can't forgive the rear end though. Pic from FoS over the w/end.

Yeah must be. Not sure how that will pan out.

If the 70 odd M3 Tourings on AT are a indicator then hopefully really badly for flippers.

Ouch, there's going to be some burnt fingers out there ...

Re the M2, looks great in standard guise as opposed to the bodykitted version with the daft Honda exhaust. There can't be great demand for these other than someone who wants one right now ... so I can't see it going for a premium.

Brake pedal looks oddly wonky, bit strange for a brand new car...

I absolutley love the new M2 and that one looks incredible, but without going too off piste (plenty of threads on car prices), who's buying them?

I had an OG M2 in 2018, cost me £350 per month to 'rent' for two years. The new one will take a long time to reach anywhere near that level. I've progressed in my career since I had my M2 yet I'm not even in the ballpark of being able to afford one of these. That's very much a me problem, but surely it'll make these a hard sell?

I think we'll see a return to big discounts and low APR offers to get these moving once the initial hype tails off.

Give it 6 months and the deals will be back. Imo
