I've just disposed of my N55 M2 and bought a 19 plate M4 Comp (F82), which I pick up soon.
I've seen some of these cars with 20" rears and 19" fronts. I like the aesthetic quality of such a modification. Is this just a straight swap, the 19's for the 20's, or is there more work that needs to be done? My M4 does have a splitter on the front, so evil speed bumps are probbaly out of the equation. Is there anything neegative to putting on the 19s?

Genuine BMW 666M wheels are 20? so don't see how going down to 19" at the front would be an issue. They are 9.0 J X 20 EH2 and IS 29 (OFFSET)
Thanks for your reponse. Yes the M4 is coming from a BMW dealer so the 20" wheels are genuine BMs. I just think the 19s on the front will be a subtle but effective change. RSsteveH said:

I think the current M3/M4 are 19" front and 20" rear as well. I didn't realise that the M4 GTS was though until you said.
I think the 2018/19 M4 CS has 19" fronts and 20" rears as well. This was where I got the idea from.I keep learning for sure. I do have a serious soft spot for the M4 CS too. They look awesome I reckon.

I have a m4 cs with the staggered wheels ,
If you go to Hereford bmw I think they have original cs wheels with tyres for £3500 .
Whoah, good info this. Although Hereford is a bit far. I'm in the south east but will shop around. Will there be that much difference through the dealers, do you think? If you go to Hereford bmw I think they have original cs wheels with tyres for £3500 .

Interestingly the M4 GTS acid orange 666M were 19” front and 20” rear.
True and it's a nightmare. The 19" wheel only just clears the back of the ccb caliper so it's dead easy to pick up stones. Here's the inside of my rim -
It's very common and although easily fixed, I wouldn't recommend 19s.

So, have you, or will you, put 20s all round? Bit dissapointing this. I wanted to get that extra stance. But if it causes damage, then no.The 19" wheel only just clears the back of the ccb caliper so it's dead easy to pick up stones. Here's the inside of my rim -

I haven't because I want to keep the original but I did consider it. I can't remember if the std caliper is the same size as the ccb one, perhaps there's better clearance with steel brakes?
I'm going to try to find out. It would make sense that the ccb caliper is bigger than standard, wouldn't it?liner33 said:

The M4 CSL comes with 20/21"
M4 CSL comes with 19"/20" 827M style, considering replacing my 826M with them. They also look to be the wheel for the new incoming M3 (and M4?) CS.The M4 CSL comes with 20/21"
The 1000M M Performance wheels are 20"/21".
