M6 GC Car Buying
Discussion
Looking for an M6 GC (or Alfa Giulia Quad, know they are very different cars). Been following the So I Bought and M6 GC thread, very good.
Spec
360 view
Comp pack a nice to have
Silver / grey
White interior preferred or black
Michelin booted ideally
Sub 40k miles / 2-3 owners
Given they are pretty well loaded not sure the other options are must haves for me (?)
Any known weaknesses I should be aware of / things to check?
Also if anyone sees a decent one matching the above or is selling there’s would be good to know.
Thanks all

The B&O is worth having if you find a car with it - it was about £4K as an extra.Spec

There are not a lot of M6GCs about, so you may struggle to match your ‘perfect spec’ - particularly if you are looking to buy in the short term.
BMW currently have 7 approved used for sale, ranging from £33K to £47K. Several look worthy of a closer look. Good luck in your search.

I quite like this one, thoughts?

That is the one I would look at first - has a decent spec - one of a few with the B&O, it has surround view and I like the interior colour scheme which I think lifts the cabin.
It’s also one of the latest registered. Not sure exactly when production stopped but it was about that time.

I believe there are only 578 UK cars, so you really can't be choosy about spec. In fact, I'd say your perfect spec car probably doesn't exist!!
I don't think B&O is an essential option though - I would have loved it on mine but the Harman/Kardon system is very good indeed (and was itself an expensive upgrade option on the regular 6 series Gran Coupe). The only 'essential' option in my opinion is the 360 surround view.

I’m no audio expert, but having had the HK system in my F10 M5 and then the B&O in my M6GC, the B&O is definitely a meaningful step up.
You'd hope so at that price!!pjv997 said:
It’s not the reason to choose one car over another, but for me it would be one factor that tips the scales towards a B&O equipped car.
I agree with you, and there were two otherwise identical cars, I'd choose the B&O car over the other (even if it was slightly more expensive), however in reality with such few cars in the UK to start with, the chance of the Audio being the deciding factor is tiny, especially as the HK system is pretty good.
(massage seats, rear blinds and B&O are the only options my car doesn't have that I kind of wish it did!)
